December 21st is the end of the Mayan Long Count Calendar. According to Mayan elders, seven major time cycles come to an end. “The Law of Miracles, Consciousness, and One’s Spiritual Path”
An Introductory Class on Yoga Philosophy, with Shridhar

Shridhar is a spiritual teacher and yoga practitioner who has studied with many masters and luminaries in India, including notably Sai Baba, Swami Muktananda and Gurumayi Chidvilasananda—the spiritual leader of Siddha Yoga Meditation—and Baba Hari Dass, who currently resides in Santa Cruz. Shridhar has developed a unique body of instruction during his 25 years of study and practice in India. Since the early '90's he has offered a “Ministry of Natural Law.”  During his personal instruction with Sai Baba, the name “Mouth of God Yoga” came about. Shridar has recently returned to the USA after about fifteen years in Asia. This included over twelve years with Sai Baba, and two years practicing Atharva Buddhist meditation in Cambodia.

In Shridhar’s work, the clearance of “Mastaka Granthi,” is facilitated. This is one of the three knots necessary to be cleared for liberation, and according to Shridar’s teachers, helps pave the way for the awakening of kundalini energy, the mysterious “divine fire” of the mystics. Through a kind of spiritual grace the aspirant may be granted a “short-cut” to opening of the crown chakra, generating a spiritual advancement in personal practice.

Shridhar has been a naturalist since his youth, feeling an intense kinship with nature, animals, and plants. Initially studying at Penn State to be a neurosurgeon, he realized his true calling was to explore divine law, and the nature of matter and energy. This led him to the ultimate frontier—inner space, and the “kingdom of God” within the soul. Many people have reported spontaneous “shaktipat” experiences in Shridhar’s presence.
