Crystal singing bowls are powerful tools for healing, meditation  and attunement to inner levels of being. Created out of quartz crystal, these bowls produce a pure tone of high frequency that can work in a healing way on deep cellular and emotional levels. Many people report powerful experiences in the presence of these sacred tools of consciousness. "Finding Inner Balance"
Talk and Shamanic Ritual with Jon Rasmussen

As summer draws to a close and we approach the autumn equinox, light slowly gives way to the coming shadows. At the time of the equinox on September 23rd the cosmic scales of light and dark achieve balance. The annual cycle of the sun is a symbol of the journey of the human soul. Achieving inner balance is a goal for which all of us strive. The dualities of earth life include light and dark, spirit and matter, masculine and feminine.  Many people have spoken about the reemergence of the divine feminine in these times of planetary awakening. The feminine face of God must take its place of honor as a balance of the traditional masculine energies of dominance and conquest. There is a growing need for compassion, understanding, and the nurturing spirit of the eternal feminine.

Shamans learn to balance the masculine and feminine energies of their psyche. They also learn that their outer world of circumstances is a reflection of their inner world of consciousness. Popular local  shaman Jon Rasmussen will speak on the theme of finding inner balance.  He will also conduct a shamanic ritual for drawing down more light as we approach the autumn equinox, followed by a guided shamanic meditative journey.

Jon Rasmussen is a well-known local teacher, and author of Dreaming Your World into Being. His shamanic studies include apprenticeship with world famous shaman Alberto Villoldo, and tutelage in the Andes with the mysterious Q’ero Indians of Peru. Jon is a representative of the authentic shamanic tradition of the Americas
