Crystals and gemstones have been renowned for thousands of years not only for their beauty but also for their healing and vitalizing properties. Ancient Taoist masters prescribed them, and in India the sages used them for their spiritual and vibratory emanations as well as for ornament. Since the advent of the computer age there has been a revival of fascination with crystals and their properties. Quartz gemstones are semiconductors and can hold information stored as energy.

Valerie White has owned her own crystal shop, and has worked with crystals for decades. She will be teaching a class in the uses and properties of these beautiful gifts from nature's storehouse. Come experience and learn about these powerful allies and the many ways they can assist us.

"Cleansing and Initiation by Fire"

The earth is bathed in the radiant light of our day star. Fire is the element that cleanses and purifies, removing all dross, revealing the essence. Alchemists revered fire as an indispensable element in turning ordinary metal into gold. Soul alchemy is the inner activity of our lives that transforms darkness into light and makes us into a vessel capable of holding the energies of our celestial self.

Popular local shaman Jon Rasmussen will give a talk on how the experiences of our lives are the raw material for the inner fires of transformation, giving fuel on our journey into greater light. He will lead us in a ritual for healing and spiritual transformation.
