Autumn Equinox Ritual

Luminata is hosting an autumn equinox gathering as a focus for awareness and healing, and as a way of staying connected to one’s inner source in this time of awakening and rapid change. Local shaman Jon Rasmussen will lead a ritual in the tradition of a shamanic journey. Tonight Jon will talk about how we can keep balanced and centered in the face of uncertainties and external upheavals. We find internal balance as we connect to the spirit within, the fulcrum of life from which all power extends. Finding this inner center will help us negotiate the changing currents of these times. Afterwards, Jon will lead us in an equinox ceremony employing traditional shamanic ritual tools for drawing down blessings upon our world.

Jon Rasmussen is a well-known local shaman and author of “Dreaming Your World into Being.”  He has an eclectic background of studies and training, from Tai, Chi, Chi Gung and Reiki, to Yoga, Naturopathy, and Neurolinguistic Programming. His shamanic studies include apprenticeship with world famous shaman Alberto Villoldo, and tutelage in the Andes with the mysterious Q’ero Indians of Peru. Jon has a growing national reputation as a carrier of the authentic shamanic tradition of the Americas.
