"Seeding Our Field of Dreams"
Talk and Shamanic Ritual for the Spring Equinox with Jon Rasmussen

We live in a universe of light. Modern physics tells us that matter is really frozen light and that, "Everything interconnects with everything else." Life can be seen as a "field" in which we are always planting seeds that grow into the conditions of our lives.  Everything we do -- all our thoughts, actions and decisions -- sends out streams of forces that influence everything around us. As a result, life is like a garden and each of us is always planting seeds in the garden of our life through our thoughts, deeds and intentions. Because everything interconnects, what we do influences and affects everything around us. When we use our gifts and talents to bless and assist others, the universe will bless us with more abundant life.

​Our best efforts work like magic not only in our own lives, but our luminous thoughts and actions "pollinate the fields" of those around us, so that what we do becomes entwined in the universal web of life. When our actions spring from love and enthusiasm, our influence can be a tremendous benefit to others, even the entire world. As we sow seeds of beauty, kindness and creativity, our actions and strivings bless those around us. In time, we will assuredly reap a golden harvest. 

Popular local  shaman Jon Rasmussen will speak on the theme of seeding our field of dreams. He will talk about how our lives are interwoven with the entire universe of teeming life and how our best efforts can enrich the lives of others as well as our own. He will lead a shamanic ritual for drawing down blessings, light and inspiration as we enter the golden season of springtime  He will also lead us in a guided meditation in the tradition of a shamanic journey.

Jon Rasmussen is a well-known local teacher, and author of Dreaming Your World into Being. His studies include apprenticeship with world famous shaman Alberto Villoldo, and tutelage in the Andes with the mysterious Q’ero Indians of Peru. Jon is a representative of the authentic shamanic tradition of the America
